QSFer Dale Cameron Lowry has a new MM sci fi romance out:
Rajiv met and fell in love with his husband, Mateo, when they were both members of the scientific team responsible for transforming Mars into a home suitable for humans. But the planet isn’t big enough for the entire population and, years into their shared mission, Rajiv is ordered back to Earth for four years to restore the barren lands of the American Midwest.
When the distance threatens to weaken their bond, Mateo gets creative with technology, adapting it in sexy and innovative ways to keep the flame burning.

Dale is giving away an eBook copy of “Love Unmasked”, a lighthearted romance about a man who occasionally turns into a raccoon. Comment on this post for a chance to win.
Author Bio
Dale Cameron Lowry lives in the Upper Midwest with a partner and three cats, one of whom enjoys eating dish towels, quilts, and wool socks. It’s up to you to guess whether the fabric eater is one of the cats or the partner. When not busy mending items destroyed by the aforementioned fabric eater, Dale enjoys writing gay romantic, erotic, and speculative fiction; wasting time on Tumblr; listening to Mormon-related podcasts; studying anatomy and neurophysiology; getting annoyed at Duolingo; and reading fairy tales.
I’m really intrigued by this man who occasionally turns into a raccoon…. Interesting. Thank you for the chance
Thank you! I’m not even sure where I came up with the idea. It must be the mammalian wildlife where I live :-)
Congrats on your release, Dale!
Thank you, Kari!
Congrats Dale! This story sounds intriguing, and so does Love Unmasked. :)
Thank you so much Dianne! That means a lot coming from you! <3
The book sounds really different please count me in.
Thank you! Being the same as everyone else is just too hard, so I might as well be different. :-)
I’ve read a lot of books with shifters in them, but I don’t think I’ve ever read a story about a raccoon shifter. Thanks for the opportunity to win a copy.

They say “write what you know,” and since the raccoons are always trying to break into my compost heap, well … I guess I know raccoons. :)
Congrats on the new release and thank you for the chance!
Thank you so much, and good luck! (I don’t pick the winner, suddenly it’s okay for me to say that ;) )
A raccoon! Different & intriguing. Can’t wait to read it!!
Thanks! I hope you enjoy it.
I’ve never read about a man who could turn into a raccoon. It sounds interesting!
I hadn’t either before I wrote this one. I hope you get a chance to read it :-)
I am new fan and am looking forward to finding more treasures. I love the writing style and bold characterst so far.
Thank you so much! That means a lot to me.
Congrats on the release. I don’t think I have read a story featuring a raccoon shifter before, so I am keeping my fingers crossed!
Thank you and good luck!
Your story sounds very interesting. I enjoy reading shapeshifter stories but I don’t think I’ve come across a raccoon in any of them so far, and also exploring using technology to keep the flames burning in a long distance relationship sounds fascinating.
Thank you! I had a lot of fun writing both of them, so I hope you will enjoy reading them :-)
Hi, I’M posting this comment not so much to win the audio book, although I would love too, but a just read about Dale’s cat eating wool. I have two cats . One is a real character, his name is Jack. He gets into all sorts of odd places, the dishwasher, clothes washes, check out my facebook page for crazy stories and pics about Jack.
Ha! Caretakers of strange cats unite! One of my cats (not the fabric-eating one) loves to hide in cabinets, but I’ve never found him in the dishwasher! The fabric-eating one sometimes tries to get to the dishwasher when I’m loading it, but mostly because she’s interested in licking the dishes. She is particularly fond of hiding in small boxes, drawers, and paper bags. Actually, she used to eat paper when she was a kitten, but I guess she grew out of that and only likes fancy fabric now :-)
I found a lot of Mike Gillispies on Facebook, so I wasn’t sure which one would have the cat pictures. Feel free to let me know!
I’ve read many shapes gifted stories…from chipmunks to whales…yeah, that was an interesting one. I like how the men tend to take on the characteristics of the animals they shift into, so it’ll be interesting to see racoon traits. Hopefully I win.
Our hero definitely has a few things in common with raccoons. I hope you get a chance to enjoy the story.
I’ve read a lot of shifter novels and I love the genre. I’ve never read about a shifter raccoon though. Thanks for the opportunity. :)
Both books sound very interesting.
Thank you!
I decided I couldn’t wait to see if I won, so I went ahead and bought it. If my name is pulled, please give it to the next person. :D
:D I hope you enjoy it!
I like the idea of coming back to earth and reclaiming it. Makes me wonder if there really might be something to this whole ‘climate change’ idea :)
Beautiful cover!
:D As my partner, the earth scientist, would say, “97% of climate scientists agree, climate change is happening.”
Science-fiction stories about everyone having to abandon Earth are interesting, but barring an asteroid collision, I like to think that we would try to stay here and make it livable – not just for us, but for all the other amazing species that reside here.
And thank you for your comment on the cover! I used to work with Photoshop a lot, but it had been a while until I recently started designing my own covers. This is my second and I hope they only get better :-)
I have never read a book about a shifter raccoon. I can’t wait to read it.
