Announcement: Playing Hard To Forget, by Piper Doone

Playing Hard to ForgetQSFer Piper Doone has a new paranormal book releasing December 26th:

Ethan Robertson never asked to be the latest in a long line of werewolf hunters, but the war between his family and the werewolf Kinnairds has raged on for a millennium, and he is expected to fight like all the Robertsons before him. But then he meets Liam Kinnaird, a gorgeous, mysterious werewolf Ethan falls hard for. Despite the danger, they carry on a torrid affair until a terrible explosion destroys everything, including Liam and Ethan’s memories of their time together.

Twenty years later, Ethan is embroiled in battle once again and catches a glimpse of Liam. It triggers intense, erotic dreams that Ethan thinks might not be dreams at all. But he’s never been anything but enemies with Kinnairds. He’s certainly never been in love with one. Or has he?

Author Bio

Piper Doone is the red-headed, left handed, and Scottish child of hippies. She had the typical small hippie commune/big city dreams childhood and decided her big dream was to work for Disney, where she learned to live off 30 cents a week after rent, food, and tuition.

She then managed to stumble into a ten-year career in professional sports that lasted ten years too long. She now works a more reasonable job in professional sports marketing, which is far less dangerous actually doing sports.

You can sometimes catch her with her cameras. She shoots digitally and on film and some of her cameras date back to the 1940s. She’d like to say she’s a serious photographer with journalism awards and stuff, but she’s been featured in exactly one gallery in New York and the photos were of a cow on her farm and a close up of grapes, so, yeah, she’s not going down in history there. Other times you can find her with her trusty bow and arrows. Being a Scottish ginger archer, she’s heard every Brave joke you can imagine, thank you.

She hates long walks on the beach, sunshine, and summertime, so obviously she lives with her husband, two kids, three hedgehogs, and a dog in sunny, beachy Miami now.
