Actor and gay activist Ian McKellen has shared a shot of himself in the 1960s – and fans are going wild. The Lord of the Rings actor included the simple caption: “#TBT 1960s The Black.” Fans were soon to respond to the tweet, posting memes to represent how flustered McKellen’s shot had made them. JK Rowling may have confirmed Professor Dumbledore’s sexuality, yet the wizard has so far never been portrayed as gay on film. That is, until now, if the trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is anything to go by. In newly released scenes, we see Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) gazing into what appears to be the Mirror of Erised. His reflection reveals Gillert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) hovering behind him. One of the main heroes in the Netflix series Voltron Legendary Defender is gay. In the upcoming seventh season of the animated series, Team Voltron returns to Earth after spending a long time in outer space. During the Voltron Legendary Defender panel at San Diego Comic Con on 20 July those involved in the show previewed the upcoming season.
