The whole internet is going absolutely crazy over former Teen Wolf star Tyler Hoechlin and his ‘super-gluts’ after images of him being in his ultra-tight Superman suit surfaced. The 28-year-old will be appearing as Superman in the second season of Supergirl that’s coming this fall on The CW. Love it or hate it, there is probably one image from this year’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” that was impossible to forget. A Superman statue in the fictional Metropolis used in advertisements — with the words “false god” scrawled across it in blood red spray paint — which represented a dark turn for Warner Bros. in its first crack at universe building. Warner Bros. debuted the first trailer for “Wonder Woman” at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend. “Wonder Woman” gives the superheroine’s origin story as Princess Diana of Themyscira starting from the World War I era. Gal Gadot, who first appeared as Wonder Woman in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” fights alongside Chris Pine who plays Steve Trevor. Patty Jenkins directs the reboot. A new comic book will be the first time a transgender superhero will lead a title. Chalice, the star of new superhero series ‘Alters’, is being described as a ‘hero for the new age’. Paul Jenkins, the comic book’s author, said the main character will have not come out to her family yet and can only present as a female when in costume. DC’s most iconic gay superhero couple Apollo and Midnighter are returning for a new joint series. Written by Steve Orlando and drawn by Fernando Blanco, the comic book will follow on from the Midnighter solo series which concluded last month. Justin Trudeau can save us any day. The Canadian Prime Minister will be gracing the cover of Marvel’s upcoming Civil War II: Choosing Sides, issue #5, coming on August 31st. Producers have confirmed that Deadpool 2 is moving forward, and that it will begin filming early next year. The film company previously confirmed that a sequel to the popular superhero flick Deadpool has began production. The company announced the news after it was confirmed director Tim Miller will return with his the original’s entire creative team.
