On 21 November, a brand new Marvel series debuts on Hulu and it’s different from all the rest. The trailer kicks off with Eleven retrieving the waffles that Hopper left for her in the woods, and quickly segues into what’s happening with Will. He’s been seeing things, and everyone seems to realize that his time in the Upside Down isn’t behind him yet. Colton Haynes and Billy Eichner treated fans to a steamy gay sex scene on the latest episode of American Horror Story: Cult. Haynes plays Detective Jack Samuels, a cop in a complicated love triangle with Eichner’s character Harrison Wilton. TV: Russell Tovey to Play Gay Hero “The Ray” on CW Crossover
The CW is planning a four-part crossover series of its Arrow-verse this fall, airing on November 27 and 28, and they’ve tapped out actor Russell Tovey to play gay superhero The Ray. Additionally, Tovey will voice the character on the animated series based on the character which was announced in July. TV: Black Episode “San Junipero” Wins Two Emmys
Black Mirror episode San Junipero, a beautiful lesbian love story, has won two Emmy Awards. The 60-minute episode of Charlie Brooker’s dystopian anthology series, which airs on Netflix, featured two women living in a digital afterlife. San Junipero broke with Black Mirror’s usually-bleak depiction of technology and the future, with a notably upbeat and heartwarming love story between two women. Bojack Horseman Character Comes Out As Asexual
BoJack Horseman has featured a character coming out as asexual, and with it sees the best asexual representation on TV. Todd Chavez, played by Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul, was asked by his girlfriend at the end of season 3 if he was gay after they didn’t have sex. ‘I think I’m nothing,’ was his response.
