Artist and graphic designer Silverjow has reimagined the beloved characters as you’ve never seen them before. The artist said his aim was to make a picture book of his illustrations. Silverjow set up a Patreon so he would have more freedom to make the art he wanted. ‘I used to take commissions but it was too much restrictions for me (sic),’ he wrote. The 60-minute episode of Charlie Brooker’s dystopian anthology series, which airs on Netflix, featured two women living in a digital afterlife. San Junipero broke with Black Mirror’s usually-bleak depiction of technology and the future, with a notably upbeat and heartwarming love story between two women.
