FOR READERS

Today’s reader topic comes from QSFer Christine Wright:

In longer series do you like to have glossaries for characters/places and if so, where do you prefer they are located in the book?

  1. I like the glossary at the back of the book. If the author wants to make a note of it being there on the author page or after the synopsis that would be great.

With series, it would be really helpful if the author were to put a list of the books at the front with the characters names in parentheses. A map helps with some mysteries that involve clues. A family tree can come in hand too!
