How consciously do you as a reader ‘vote with your dollar’? (By which I mean I try very hard to purchase and pre-order LGBTIQA and AoC authors, #ownvoices, etc.)?

I’ll expand on this a bit – do you try to buy from places where authors get the best royalties? Or do you just buy whichever books appeal to you the most, wherever you find them?

  1. I would if I knew the answer to…’Where do authors get the best royalties?’ If I knew I’d definitely use those sources…as long as they were affordable. I read at least 20 books a month and price is a concern!
