FOR READERS & WRITERS: Last Time in This Series

FOR READERS & WRITERS

Today’s writer topic comes from QSFer Denise Dechene:

Saw this on Twitter “Why is it that TV producers don’t expect us to remember what happened last week without “Previously on” reminders, and yet book publishers expect us to remember the details of a story for a whole year or more? “. So I got to thinking there are a lot of readers who don’t do de reads. Do you think that books in a series should have a recap page/s at the beginning that the reader can skip if wanted? And to the readers-would you read this recap page or do you think it would be unnecessary?
