  1. Ever since I published my first book, I began to pay more attention to other authors, their work, and how I could support them. Before publishing, I had sent reviews and email of praise to favorite authors, and was even blessed a few times to get responses. But after I finally understood all of the hard work that had to go into the project of bringing a book to market, I made it more of a concerted effort. I’ll buy books, offer positive reviews, and send them personal emails. I like to think this helps them, because I sure know how much I like the receive the same in kind.
