FOR WRITERS

Today’s writer topic comes from QSFer ‘Nathan Smith:

“How to Give a Successful Reading (that’s not boring with you face-down in your book).”

As someone who plans to do one of these in the near future, I can’t wait to hear what y’all have to say.

  1. Heh, I just shared my story about getting annoyed during class in fifth grade over what a monotone everyone was reading our history text in. I decided to liven things up by screaming, “THE BRITISH ARE COMING!” during Paul Revere’s ride. Getting into the moment, sharing the tension of that moment you’re reading is all part of getting people to enjoy the story. :) Not to mention enjoying it yourself. :)
