Despite the plot holes and consistency drawbacks of Star Wars: The Force Awakens — don’t get me started — one of the positive things about the film was that the special effects (which were awesome) did not try to upstage the story.
When it’s not in your face, it’s easy to forget the amount of work that goes into creating the visual effects that tickle our imaginations.
