Elsa Finally Comes Out – On SNL

This weekend’s Saturday Night Live (SNL) parodied the Disney animated sequel Frozen 2 by showing “deleted scenes” featuring a lesbian Elsa. The parody seemingly acknowledges the 2016 social media campaign asking Disney to #GiveElsaAGirlfriend in light of her remaining unpartnered by the first film’s end. In the parody, Queen Elsa is played by lesbian comic Kate McKinnon, and Elsa doesn’t seem entirely pleased that she’s remained curiously single in the film’s first two installments. SNL Star Wars Auditions: The Next Generation

I don’t think this tops Saturday Night Live‘s original version of Star Wars auditions done during the 20th anniversary of Star Wars and featuring Kevin Spacey (also included below), but this new version for The Force Awakens is worth watching.
