Jupiter

A spinning, solar-powered spacecraft as wide as a basketball court will arrive at Jupiter on July 4 to study the giant planet and to take the highest-resolution images of Jupiter in history. Researchers think it was the first planet to form and that it holds clues to how the solar system evolved. “One of the primary goals of Juno … Read more

Plus: Forest Whitaker and At-AT Walkers! Full Story at SF Signal

This time, the new trailer is all about the bad guy. You may remember him from his crazy-looking lightsaber in previous trailers. As you can see, this year’s dark lord gets the Death March theme from John Williams’ soundtrack. But it looks like he isn’t perfectly trained and he’s still learning a few things from the villain-in-chief. In this trailer, you can also spot Han Solo, the … Read more

News: A Second Star Wars Trailer… From Japan

By now we’re used to seeing a second trailer for a hotly anticipated movie and being, well, disappointed. Too often there’s very little new tid-bits to actually warrant a watch. Not so with the new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. And that may have something to do with the fact that this latest trailer comes from Japan. Feel the force grow stronger.
