Peacemaker has revealed that one of the HBO Max series’ characters is bisexual, welcoming the first on-screen queer man to the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). Needless to say, there are spoilers for Peacemaker episode seven below.
In the show’s seventh episode, titled “Stop Dragon My Heart Around”, Peacemaker, aka Christopher Smith (John Cena), faces off against his father, who is a white supremacist villain named the White Dragon (Robert Patrick).
During the fight, White Dragon, aka August Smith, gains the upper hand over Peacemaker and beats up Peacemaker while surrounded by a group of his evil cohorts. As he stands on the Peacemaker’s chest, White Dragon viciously belittles his son and tells him everything he did wrong in his father’s eyes. This includes the fact that Peacemaker has slept with both men and women in the past.
