QSFer Pelaam is part of a new MM paranormal book set out:
The Alpha lives for the hunt… Driven by instinct, an Alpha shifter recognizes his fated mate from one scent, one touch. He’ll pursue his man, regardless of the cost, and anyone else would be smart to get out of his way. He won’t stop until he takes possession of his prize. Although the hunter doesn’t need convincing, his mate certainly does. The Alpha will have to prove himself as a lover and convince his man that he plays for keeps.
Pelaam’s story: A Matter of Trust.
When gardener Rylan offers to work off a debt to arrogant, overbearing Tudor, he little imagines the shift his life is about to take.
“Watch out. He’s coming back.” John glanced over Rylan’s shoulder, and his stance stiffened.
His dad was right and Rylan watched, transfixed by the man’s sheer grace and latent strength as Tudor strode toward them.
Rylan didn’t consider himself small or skinny, but Tudor had several inches and at least fifty pounds—of pure muscle—on him. The blond stalked forward, and while Rylan’s mind said run, something else—an inner feeling or instinct—told him to stay.
Tudor stopped less than a foot away from him and Rylan held his ground. A slight smile on his full lips, Tudor drew himself to his full height. A ‘V’ of honey-brown hair peeked over out where his shirt ended. His nostrils flared and Tudor inhaled deeply.
It was all Rylan could do not to shudder with arousal. It was possibly one of the most erotic things he’d ever experienced. The reaction threw Rylan for a moment. After all, given the circumstances, he and Tudor were hardly going to part the best of friends. Shaking his head slightly as if to clear it, Rylan braced himself for the onslaught to come.
To Rylan’s surprise, Tudor didn’t rant or rave as he’d had expected. Instead his voice was calm, deeply rounded, and yet Rylan thought he detected a hint of a throaty rasp.
“So, are you going to accept responsibility for the demise of my orchid?” Tudor’s eyes took on an almost golden sheen, and it took a few seconds before Rylan found breath enough to reply.
