Neil deGrasse Tyson, the Carl Sagan for our times, has fun picking apart the science behind some of the upcoming sci fi films this summer.
Enjoy!

Seems to me that “Science” and Science Fiction movies are mutually exclusive. True of most Science Fiction writing too. I only remember one SF story which included the equivalent of hand held calculators and another later one that predicted the equivalent of the smart phone, though without the camera feature. Lots of older SF stories had the folks still using slide rules in the 22nd century or beyond and one early Heinlein story had the astronauts using a analog computer.
