I’m gonna be a bit selfish today. I just signed up for two agent pitch meetings at NebulaCon. Have you ever live pitched before? What do I need to know?

  1. Be polite and friendly. Have your stories distilled into a concise line or two. Include a reference to give an idea of the overall story (e.g. Picard meets Obi-wan and they conquer Las Vegas, lol). Have both a short and a long synopsis. If you are submitting something, PLEASE make sure it’s well edited. Make sure you have an easy way to provide contact info (and remember that these folks get tons of papers and cards so it will be easy get lost in the crowd). Follow up after the meeting. Good luck!
