About The Book

You’re pregnant, Graham.”

Wow. Life has tossed Graham a lot of curveballs, but he never expected to hear those words. Then, just as Graham and his fated mate, Hyden, are getting used to that amazing news, someone from Graham’s past returns and kidnaps him, threatening the very future they want to build. Turns out Graham is an Oletti, a bloodline of wolf shifters that seems to be part of an ancient prophecy, one that speaks of a hidden magical spring of water that can restore the earth and all that is in it. A power some would kill to possess. Except, in the wrong hands, it can also turn humans and shifters totally away from what, and who, they truly love, tearing families and even fated mates apart.

Unfortunately, Hyden has been forced to drink this water so no one is coming to rescue Graham. It’s now up to him to not only save himself, his unborn child and his fated mate, but very possibly the world as they know it. But superhero capes are hard to come by and he never liked himself much in tights. Still, with the help of his Oletti powers, this should be something he can do, right? Oh, Great Wolf, let this be something I can do…

The Review

Graham and Hyden are expecting a young pup. Their visit to the doctor brings up a lingering question: is Graham a member of the Olettis? Graham has to get used to Hyden being the Alpha over the packs. He’s very nervous about the many pack members that are meeting at Hyden Solfang’s home.  He also has to deal with the fact that Myrk is going to be there.

Tenway is a dangerous place, and Hyden has plans to clean out the drugs and the humans and wolves that have disobeyed the , of the packs. He has allies who will help him and eventually he will become the supreme alpha. He has three Betas that have an assignment to complete, but there’s horrible news as they have not returned. With all the pressure on Hyden, Graham still wants to continue his education, but Hyden doesn’t feel comfortable with it, and so he assigns Tad as Grahams bodyguard. When Myrk calls Graham, Graham shares a little too much information with him, and ends up being kidnapped.

Graham’s kidnapping reveals the truth about the Olettis, Mount Genesis and the water. Will Graham find a way out of his predicament, or will he and Hyden never be together again? And what of the pup still to come?

The third novel in “The Oletti Shifters” series is a more complete extension of “Hyden’s Law” (Graham and Hyden) and “Mates Inc.”  (Grey and Kade).  “Graham’s Rescue” is very different from the first book, which is more of a novella. This one is filled with action and suspense, and reveals many secrets about the Oletti’s.

Graham’s character is still a little naive, but he’s become stronger and more determined.  He remembers the abuse he suffered with former Alphas Jake Warkin and Charlie Warrens.

We also get a much clearer idea about Graham, Kade, Nick and Myrk with the story of Nirga.  There’s more about Hyden’s plan to take control of Tenway. And there’s an abundance of characters – both new and returning from the first two books – with very interesting results.  I liked how Cosmos tookl the Greek Alphabet and classified each designation of wolf.

This was another page-turner from Hurri Cosmo, with action and suspense right from the starting – and plenty of secrets to keep me entertained!

The Reviewer

Hi, I’m Maryann, I started life in New York, moved to New Hampshire and in 1965 uprooted again to Sacramento, California.  Once I retired I moved to West Palm Beach, Florida in 2011 and just moved back to Sacramento in March of 2018.  My son, his wife and step-daughter flew out to Florida and we road tripped back so they got to see sights they have never seen.  New Orleans and the Grand Canyon were the highlights. Now I am back on the west coast again to stay! From a young age Ialways liked to read.

I remember going to the library and reading the “Doctor Dolittle” books by Hugh Lofting. Much later on became a big fan of the classics, Edgar Alan Poe, Mary Shelley, Bram Stoker and as time went by Agatha Christie, Ray Bradbury and Stephen Kingand many other authors.

My first M/M shifter book I read was written by Jan Irving the “Uncommon Cowboys” series from 2012.  She was the first author I ever contacted and sent an email to letting her know how much I liked this series.  Sometime along the way I read “Zero to the Bone”by Jane Seville, I think just about everyone has read this book!

As it stands right now I’m really into mysteries, grit, gore and “triggers” don’t bother me. But if a blurb piques my interest I will read the book.

My kindle collection eclectic and over three thousand books and my Audible collection is slowly growing.  I have both the kindle and audible apps on my ipod, ipads, and MAC. So there is never an excuse not to be listening or reading.

I joined Goodreads around 2012 and started posting reviews.  One day a wonderful lady, Lisa Horan of The Novel Approach, sent me an email to see if I wanted to join her review group.  Joining her site was such an eye opener.  I got introduce to so many new authors that write for the LGBTQ genre. Needless to say, it was heart breaking when it ended.

But I found a really great site, QRI and it’s right here in Sacramento. Last year at QSAC I actually got to meet Scott Coatsworth, Amy Lane and Jeff Adams.
