FOR READERS/WRITERS
Today’s reader topic comes from QSFer Kari Trenten:
Is there a single moment in a book or a short story that stuck in your mind? If you’re also a writer, did it any way affect your writing?

There’s a moment in The Vampire Lestat when Lestat is at a ball, seeing all the potential victims transforming into skeletons, only to have Armand overwhelm him, dazzle him, and attack him. The complexity of that moment of adversity made me crave more complex levels of antagonism between antagonists and protagonists.
Yes, my answer is different than it was at Facebook, yet I’m referring to the same book. :)=
