FOR WRITERS
Today’s writer topic comes from QSFer Hank Cannon:
Not every character is an expert in their field or good in all situations, but how do you take a character, and capture that fish out of water situation the plot requires without making them unsympathetic by being too clueless?
Heh, Danyell, Christopher, Rhodry, Phaedra, and most of my characters are fish out of water! :) It’s a state of mind I can relate to. :) I try to give them goals and have them strive to keep heading towards them, even while they’re blinking myopically at the world around them. :)
