QSFer A. Williams has a new MM paranormal book out: Fall of the Wolf.
Boone : I’m an investigator with the shifter organization. And it’s the Waterfall Pack’s turn for a visit. As an alpha I have to wear a scent masker because pack alphas are touchy about their territory.
Harris: My boyfriend dumps me at the bar but I don’t care because I want to gaze at the dark-haired stranger who’s sitting at the next table. My wolf likes the way he smells. Really likes it.

My wolf stirred and sniffed when we entered. I didn’t smell anything other than the lingering scent of alpha and another shifter. The other shifter was a dark-haired handsome man. And big enough to be an alpha even though his scent was different. My wolf liked the way he smelled. Really liked it.
The stranger was at a table and I couldn’t help staring at him. He smiled and it took my breath away.
The buzzing of my phone interrupted the moment and I pulled it out. It was a text from my boyfriend, Miles.
Be there soon.
Ah, that’s right, I had a boyfriend. So why was I sitting at the table next to the stranger? I’d only taken my gaze away long enough to be sure I sat on a chair instead of the floor. He smirked like he knew what his smile was doing to me.
And then the stranger was gone. Because my boyfriend had slid into the seat opposite mine and was blocking my view. He was a cute redhead but not gorgeous like the dark-haired stranger.
