Stars of Netflix’s hit sci-fi drama, Sense8, couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they marched in San Paulo Pride. The city in Brazil has just hosted the world’s biggest Pride parade. And Brian J. Smith, Max Riemelt and Miguel Ángel Silvestre couldn’t keep their hands off each other. News broke this week that a group of LGBTQ Star Trek fans had targeted CBS and Paramount Pictures with an online petition for the next captain in the franchise to be queer. That should come as no surprise given the gains by lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender and queer people in terms of representation in the entertainment medium.
