The Review
I have followed this band of characters when they originally were born as a four book series named The Sleepless City. This Series uniquely shared with Elizabeth Noble writing her characters in Books 1 and 3 and Anne Barwell taking on Books 2 and 4…
Each author has now brought their people on to other adventures, with Ms. Noble having Dr. Lucas Coates, Declan, Det. Jonas Forge and Blair being accepted to the highly mysterious Vampire Guard. While Lucas Coates is a highly revered doctor, he is the only wolf shifter of the four.
This story opens in 1929 and we are given a glimpse of the beginnings of why we are going many fathoms under the sea to save the world. I must admit Ms. Noble is such an excellent story teller, showing us snippets of our fabulous four thru the ages of their lives, for the many many years they have walked this earth. I feel with each book, I get to know them better and better and I feel this is an integral part of the interest I have for her writing.
This story is fraught again with much danger and how they solve and work together was so interesting. I felt I was actually there and had actually searched every part of that floating undersea lab. Kudos to the author!!!
Code Name Jack Rabbit is #1 , Quarry #2 This is Book #3 and The Sleepless City started it !!!!
