QSFer Fernando Velez Serrano has a new queer “multi-format cinematic universe” coming out on August 1st: The Queen’s Heroes.
The Queen’s Heroes began as a graphic novel — but the kind of pain this story holds refused to stay on the page.
This universe now expands across a cinematic novel, a strategy board game, a card game, and an upcoming documentary — each one shaped by the same question no other cinematic universe dares to ask:
IS HUMANITY WORTH SAVING?
When survival becomes a story, it grows.
And this one refused to stop at just a book.

Formerly known as Class6, this universe has evolved into The Queen’s Heroes — a bolder, deeper, and more powerful vision of what queer storytelling can be. Created by Puerto Rican storyteller Fernando Velez, The Queen’s Heroes was born from rejection, pain, and an unstoppable will to survive.
For over a decade, Fernando built this universe from scratch — not to fit into an industry that erased voices like his, but to challenge it. Every page, every word, every world… comes from lived truth.
“These stories weren’t created in safety — they were carved out of everything that tried to break me.”
