New Racing Game Forza Horizon Adding Pronoun Options

Forza Horizon 5, the next entry in the Xbox exclusive racing series, will include pronoun options in its character customiser. The game was revealed at the Xbox E3 showcase, though further details have been uncovered in an FAQ on the game’s website. Various new modes will be included in the game, such as the EventLab to create your own races and a story campaign. Most interesting is not just car customisation, but player character customisation. Xbox Game Studios just published its latest game, Tell Me Why, the first mainstream game from a major publisher that features a transgender character as the playable lead hero. The game, which was developed with input from the LGBTQ media group GLAAD, was announced during Microsoft’s Xbox London event on November 14, 2019 and will be available on Xbox One, Windows, and Game Pass in 2020. XBox Update: Gender Neutral Clothing


Video game console giants Xbox are modifying their Avatar system, allowing players to choose gender-neutral outfits. Originally male and female characters could only dress in clothing for their genders but a new update revealed at the E3 game festival in Los Angeles on Tuesday showed a modification to this system. Designer Kathryn Storm said: ‘Our avatars are built with inclusivity absolutely in mind, with more options and flexibility.’ As well as scrapping the boy and girl choices for clothing, the update will also include wheelchairs for characters.
